Helpful guidelines for kids from pediatrician

Last year, our pediatrician told us some simple guidelines to follow, that i found to be very helpful.  Hope you do too-

  •  One hour of exercise each and every day
  • No more than 2 hours of TV a day
  • Divide your plate into 3 sections=1/2 the plate fruits & or veggies, 1/4 protein, 1/4 carb
  • Limit treats to 2 to 3 times per week

To which one of my child responded,   “Yay!  More TV than exercise!!”
