!!! 5 Reasons Why I Love Cinco de Mayo !!!

On the 5th day of the 5th month, we celebrate the Mexican army winning a big battle by throwing a fiesta!  Fiesta means party,

and that just happens to be my favorite 5 letter word.

Here are 5 reasons why i love Cinco de Mayo:

😉  The Mexican Hat Dance to spicy musica!

😉 Dressing in bright colors and playing senorita with a red rose! dsc00908

dsc00859😉  Pinatas!

😉 Shake my Maracas!

😉  Eat Guacamole, Chips & Salsa!

You cut the avocados. Let your kid mash them up.

Throw a clove of garlic in.  Squeeze some lemon or lime and add a pinch of salt.  Don’t measure anything!  Relax, have fun.  Make a guacamole bar so everyone is happy- offer jalapeños, red onion, chopped tomato, cilantro, maybe a little sour cream, but sparingly.

Get loco, be different, throw some jalapeños and cucumber in your margarita!

Make a family favorite, tacos…

Or make fish tacos using soft corn tortillas, cabbage, mango & avocado.

The mustache logo is experiencing a huge trend, so buy some things for the kids to get silly with!  And don’t even THINK about candy in that pinata…

 Ole!  Now vamanos!

p.s.  I took French, LOL
